Day 2 Smiles and Laughter... the Universal Language part 1

Hey guys so we are te new blog team!!! We consist of Nate and Rachel Temp, Jenna Hubin, and Kendall Peterson! So the first day went well and we arrived safely Praise the Lord!!! With only one person lost luggage...Amanda, but she got it back today!!! Praise the Lord again!!!
Rachel (first night's dinner)
One of my favorite things about going oversees and being in the different cultures is the food. Last night the team got the most amazing supper we have had over here... mainly because it was the first supper we had. Anyways, as we walked to Jen and Armado's apartment (the workers who we met up with over here) we stopped at a restaurant  that they eat at regularly. The Saraff (I think that is how you spell it :)) was the owner and so hospitable they made us so much good food and Pide which is like pizza only on pita bread and without sauce. It was so good, and the place we ate was so pretty with all the trees and the garden right next to us, the only problem was the uninvited guests called insects and spiders. Throughout the meal spiders and bugs would crawl all over the table and chairs and occasionally spiders would crawl on you... I dont know if this happened to anyone else but it doesnt happen to anyone else but it definitely happened to me and anyone who knows me knows I am terribly scared of spiders. Other things happened with supper like Jen and Armando's kids picking up and "playing" with them, which leads to the quote of the night: Josh (Armando's oldest) "picking up snails is so much fun"
Armando "Im sure if you asked the snails opinion it would be slightly different."
Finally right before we left a group of us girls needed to go to the bathroom and found at that in that certain bathroom you needed one person to hold the door while the other person actually went.
God has certainly taught us alot already in the last couple days and we are certainly excited for all the has left in store.
This is part one part two coming later :) !
